My
Story
My name is Leah and I name from Sherman, Connecticut. I just graduated Summa Cum Laude from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts, with a BFA in Interior Architecture. At Endicott I was am the Creative Director of the Endicott College Architecture and Design club where I ran all of our social media accounts. I was also a choreographer for Edge Dance Group and have been dancing with the student-run club ever since my freshman year.

I have always been drawn to the arts even as a little kid. Art class was always my favorite because it allowed me to use the creative side of my brain. I grew up watching design shows on tv and fell in love with re-doing my bedroom. I got inspiration from my grandfather who is a general contractor, because he would always have floor plans laid out on his kitchen table which I found to be so intriguing. That is why I decided to pursue an education in design, and more specifically, interior architecture.
My
Experience
I have been given the opportunity to intern at a few different interior design firms located in Connecticut and Massachusetts. Gaining experience and obtaining new knowledge, they have each shaped me differently to be the designer I am today.

I currently work for a design firm in Connecticut as a Junior Designer. At APK Designs, LLC I have been a part of both residential and commercial projects so far. I create design presentations, work on floor plans and other important drawings, develop 3D models online, and produce high quality renderings for clients to get a better feel for what their future space may look like.

I am seeking post-grad positions within the Boston, MA area starting in the fall of 2023. I hope to develop new skills that will help me grow in the design and architecture fields for after graduation.
